Like the 25 caliber Steyr, some were manufactured in Belgium and some in Austria. There are variations in the finger grooves, and again, the date of manufacture will be indicated by the numbers stamped on the barrel block. Production commenced at the Steyr plant in Austria under Pieper license approximately the same time as the Belgian version.
