Post WW II manufacture, adopted by Spanish Service in 1946, some were issued to West German police. Known primarily as the model P or Super P, this pistol was also referred to as model SS. Model P magazine is recessed into the grip frame. Model Super P (often marked "The Garcia Corp. Wash. D.C.) magazine fits flush on the grip frame. Model PS magazines also fit flush on the grip frame.
