Made by Waffenfabrik Simson and Co., Suhl, Germany, a contract manufacturer, or assembler of Luger pistols. The first model, 1922, has a rounded frame and slide, giving the pistol a well finished streamlined appearance. In 1927, the rounding was discontinued and the pistol had a more normal flat appearance. Produced for commercial sale, production stopped in the mid 1930's.
