Made after WW I until about 1925 by Oesterreichische Werke-GWS-Anstalt (OWA) in Vienna, Austria. The entire barrel and slide unit tip up on the front hinge. Well made but complex pistol. It appears that two models were made, one with a safety on the slide, one with a safety on the frame. Both are illustrated and both use the same magazine. Grips for the slide mounted safety model are 1783G. Grips for the frame mounted safety model are 1784G.
