Made about 1910 by Robar and de Kerkhove of Liege, Belgium. The pistol was marketed as the Jieffeco first. When the name was changed to Melior, the magazine release was changed to a button on the lower left grip. Produced until about 1920, the pistol bears a striking resemblance to the Browning 1900.
