The earliest of the Beretta series, this model was used in military service in World War I, as well as being sold commercially. Uses the Mauser blowback type of barrel mounting, with no ejector. Protruding firing pin ejects fired case. Well machined, supplied with wood or metal grips with rigid lanyard loop on left side. Produced from 1915 - 1919.
