This is one of the first vest pocket 25 caliber pistols produced by the firm that was to become Astra-Unceta y Cia. Latest production of this model will have a grip safety. The first production will bear the name “Victoria”, later models will use the name “1911 Victoria”, “1916 Victoria”, and “Hope”. The Astra name was added about 1915. In addition many of the models will have the name “Hope” on the barrel.
