A modification of the 1935A model pistol, again using the designs of Charles Petter. This pistol is slightly smaller and has a different safety than the 1935A. Manufactured by at least three French firms, the most common is Manufacture d'Armes de St. Etienne at St. Etienne, France. The initials MAS often used to identify this pistol.
